We began a series of talks on Salesian Spirituality in November and December. The talks will continue once a month through April. The topic for January 20 is "Salesian Spirituality: Enriching Human Relations," the talk for February 26 is "Salesian Spirituality: Enriching the Workplace." These two talks will be given by two Visitation teachers, Carol Dinan and Christine McGovern, who have grasped the spirituality with enthusiasm.
The talk on March 23 will be given by Sister Jacqueline and Sister will share the inspiration she has received from some giant figures who have lived Salesian spirituality in a beautiful manner. Finally the series will close on April 20 when Sr. Mary Berchmans will speak on "Living Salesian Spirituality in the 21st Century." The talks all begin at 7:30 p.m. in the school’s "Little Odeon." and we invite all interested friends to join us at that time.
As we celebrate the feast of St. Francis de Sales on January 24 we shall be mindful of our many friends who have welcomed an opportunity to share a little more in the wisdom of this great saint. How greatly he has blessed the lives of so many!
Our community continues to grow! Srs. Anne Elizabeth and Maureen de Chantal made their first vows on December 1st. Earline Viano and Lynn Maslow joined us this summer and are looking forward to receiving the habit next month. May God be praised!
